A window that isn’t sealed properly doesn’t announce itself until winter. By then you’ve already paid for heating that went through the wall.
Panorama Construction installs PVC and wooden window frames with full sealing and reveal finishing. We don’t subcontract the finishing work — the same team that fits the frame does the plastering, painting and internal reveals.
Window installation scope
- Removal of old window frames and hardware
- Structural preparation of the opening if required
- Installation of PVC or wood frames to level and plumb
- Primary sealing — expanding foam and membrane tape to weather side
- Interior sealing — airtight barrier tape at frame perimeter
- Reveal finishing — plastering, skimming, painting
- External sill installation and sealing
- Adjustment and testing of handles, hinges and tilt-turn mechanisms
The three-layer sealing principle — weather-resistant outside, insulating middle, airtight inside — is the standard that prevents both water ingress and heat loss. Not every contractor applies all three layers. We do.
Luxembourg windows must meet specific thermal performance standards depending on the property type. We can advise on U-values and help you select frames that meet current requirements — relevant if you’re applying for energy renovation subsidies.
Window replacement in older Luxembourg properties often requires simultaneous reveal repair — the plastered border around the frame, which often shows cracks or previous poor repairs after the old frame comes out. We include this in the quote.
